The Shakespeare Miscellany

I have just read cover to cover David and Ben Crystal's delightful tome - The Shakespeare Miscellany. 


A huge fan of the superb Schott's Original Miscellany, I was intrigued to see how well a similar format would work applied to one subject - Shakespeare. 


The resulting book is illuminating, entertaining and as the title suggests there is a wonderfully anarchic randomness to the material which takes the reader by surprise at every turn of the page.
